The road to writing has come through a winding terrain of alternative expressions; contemporary text, experimental theatre and music improvisation.
My deepest desire is to share the human condition. No one wants to feel alone. Being honest about who you are and what you go through can be a mirror for those that are looking.
I'm serious about what I do while trying to not take myself too seriously. Those that know me know that I don't wear crazy glasses but the side of me that I present, does.
The music on the latest album 2021, TIME IS NOW combines a laidback positive sound with an emotionally pensive dark off-kilter bent and is often calming with a tinge of melancholic disdain attached to wry social commentary.
CARNIVAL KING, out sometime in 2023, is a departure from previous work, including more spoken text and music worked out of improvisations and soundscapes. This is definitely a work born out of 2 years of introspection, lockdowns, isolation and much dreaming.
What an incredible time we live in. There is so much creative energy at our fingertips. It's pretty cool that we can share it.
